Predictive Maintenance Technicians

M&B Engineered Solutions, Inc. (M&B) provides Predictive Maintenance Services to various industries in the United States. We are looking for several Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Technicians to fill critical positions in the Augusta, Columbia, and Charleston areas. These are key positions for the company and will present growth opportunities to the right person both economically and professionally.

 

Primary Job Duties:

PdM Technicians are primarily responsible for collecting “Route Based” vibration data at customer sites using hand-held vibration analyzers. After receiving sufficient training from M&B, Technicians will also be responsible for analyzing data & reporting back to the customer. Our PdM Technicians are the primary interface between the customer and M&B, and will be expected to interact professionally with the customer at all times.

 

Qualifications:

M&B is seeking candidates who have experience in the field of Vibration Analysis, and / or have experience with maintaining rotating machinery (motors, gearboxes, etc.). A Level 1 Vibration Analysis Certification or higher is preferred, but is not required. M&B will provide training to qualified Technicians to reach Level 2 Vibration Analysis certification within 3 years.

 

Successful candidates must have basic computer proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, email). They must also possess effective oral and written communication skills, and have a strong customer service attitude.

 

Additional experience in shaft alignment, infra-red Imaging, and motor current analysis would be considered a plus for potential candidates but is not required.

 

Compensation:

This is an hourly staff position that includes overtime pay; typical Technicians earn 15-20% overtime a year. The position includes a structured bonus package, vehicle and health compensation, and a retirement plan.
